Welcome to Ghar Sutra. We aim to provide quality home improvement and household utility products across India. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds
At Ghar Sutra, returns and refunds are accepted only under the following conditions:

Wrong product delivered

Product received in damaged condition
We do not accept returns or refunds for:

Change of mind

Personal preference issues

Minor color/design variations
-
Incorrect ordering by customer

Delay caused by courier/logistics beyond our control

Used, altered, or damaged products after delivery
2. Mandatory Unboxing Video Requirement
A clear and continuous unboxing video is compulsory for all return, replacement, and refund requests.
The video must:

Start before opening the package
-
Clearly show the shipping label
-
Show the package being opened properly
-
Clearly display the issue/damage/wrong item
Claims raised without a proper unboxing video will be automatically rejected.
Edited, paused, cut, or unclear videos will not be accepted.
3. Return Request Timeframe
Customers must raise a return/refund request within 7 days of delivery.
Requests made after 7 days from the delivery date will not be accepted under any circumstances.
4. Product Condition Requirements
To qualify for a return/refund:

Product must be unused

Product must be in original packaging

All accessories, manuals, tags, and packaging materials must be included

Product should not show signs of usage, installation, or mishandling
5. Refund Process
Once your request is approved after verification:

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method

COD order refunds will be processed only via Bank Transfer or UPI
-
Refund processing may take 5–10 business days depending on banking channels
Ghar Sutra reserves the right to reject refund requests after inspection and verification.
6. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds/replacements will not be approved in cases including but not limited to:

No unboxing video provided

Physical damage caused after delivery

Product used or installed
-
Minor packaging damage
-
Customer ordered wrong item
-
Customer no longer wants the product
-
Incomplete delivery address or failed delivery attempts

Refusal to accept delivery

Return request raised after allowed timeframe
7. Cancellation Policy
Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch.
Once the order has been shipped, cancellation requests will not be accepted.
8. Delivery & Shipping Disclaimer
Ghar Sutra works with third-party suppliers and logistics partners across India. While we strive for timely delivery, delays due to:

Weather conditions

Courier issues
-
High order volume
-
Operational disruptions

Remote location servicing
shall not qualify for refunds or cancellations.
9. Fraud Prevention & Abuse
Ghar Sutra reserves the right to:

Refuse returns/refunds for suspicious claims

Block customers involved in repeated fraudulent activities

Take necessary legal action in cases of abuse, chargeback fraud, or policy misuse
